Homegrown

Even though the end of the summer has come and we are well into fall, we still have fresh tomatoes and jalapenos. While the rest of the garden died long ago, these plants are putting on and giving us our fair share of fresh well into November. Since we have colder temperatures and more freezes coming I know its not going to last much longer and I'm going to miss lunch sandwiches with fresh tomatoes and Little Lady is going to miss running into the garden for a quick tomato snack while playing soccer. Our garden gave us plenty of cucumbers, squash, and other homegrown favorites this year and we can't wait to do it all over again next year, especially since I have found my inner cook and look forward to new recipes.
