Pattypan Squash

We had a garden for the first time this year and I can't wait to have one again next summer. My new favorite squash is the white pattypan squash. At first, when they started popping up I wasn't sure how or what we were going to do with them since I had never had this type of squash before. Silly me, I thought we were only going to be able to decorate with them. Then Big A got creative in the kitchen and turned this squash into a favorite veggie of mine. He boiled up some EVOO sprinkled in some black pepper, white pepper, garlic powder, and marjoram and VOILA - this stuff is amazing. So, if you have a white pattypan squash you don't know what to do with, slice it up and try it this way. If you don't like it you can send it to me and I will happily eat it for you!

And if you aren't sure what type of squash I'm speaking of - here is a pic of one in our garden:
